LA&M to host trans masculine artist’s reading, May 31

CHICAGO — The Leather Archives & Museum will host HP Lehkonen, a trans-masc artist from Finland, on Thursday, May 31. 

Lehkonen is the author of the Queer Prism Award-winning “Short Gay Stories” from Cow House Press. He will be doing a reading at the LA&M.

The event is free but donations are encouraged. A $5 donation will get an art print and people who donate $10 will get an art print and a goodie bag. All donations go to the LA&M.

MINNEAPOLIS — The Atons of Minneapolis reported Tuesday that longtime member Sam Carlisle passed away on March 27.

Sam was the longest standing active member of the Atons, having joined the club in 1992. He served the club as President, Vice-President, Treasurer, social chair, Run Chair, and as a brother to his fellow Atons.
